As Election Day approaches, you’re hearing a lot of campaign talk from candidates:
🗣 “I love Perry.”🗣 “I’ll listen to you.”🗣 “I care about our community.”

That’s great—but what does that actually mean for YOU and for Perry? Loving Perry is important, but leadership requires more than words—it requires action, experience, and a plan.
Voters Deserve More Than Generic Promises
Being an Alderman isn’t just about showing up—it’s about knowing how to lead, manage resources, and make decisions that impact the future of our community. That’s why I encourage you to ask tough questions of every candidate, including me.
Before You Vote, Ask Every Candidate These Questions:
✔ How are you qualified to be Alderman? – What skills, experience, and knowledge do you bring to the table that will help move Perry forward?
✔ What is your history of supporting the Perry community? – What have you personally done to improve Perry? Have you volunteered, led initiatives, or contributed to community outreach efforts?
✔ What is your experience in managing a P&L? – If you don’t know what P&L stands for without looking it up, you should reconsider running. Managing budgets, prioritizing resources, and understanding financial oversight is critical for an alderman.
✔ What leadership experience do you have? – Have you led teams, managed projects, or made tough decisions that impacted people and businesses? Leadership isn’t just about making promises—it’s about knowing how to get things done.
✔ How will you ensure responsible spending and financial transparency? – What specific policies will you support to keep Perry’s finances in check?
✔ What specific policies do you support for improving roads, utilities, and public services? – Not just “I will improve roads.” HOW? What’s the plan?
✔ How will you help small businesses grow and attract new opportunities for Perry? – What steps will you take to support business owners and job creation?
✔ What’s your plan for public safety and ensuring our police & emergency responders have the tools they need? – Are you committed to ensuring our first responders have proper funding, training, and resources?
✔ How will you keep residents informed and engaged in city government? – Will you hold public town halls? Will you make government decisions more transparent?
If a candidate can’t answer these questions with specifics, then how can you trust them to lead our town?
My Commitment: Clear Plans, Not Just Words
I believe Perry deserves more than vague campaign slogans. That’s why I’ve spent hours outlining my detailed vision for the future of our town—on this website, my Facebook page, and in direct conversations with residents like you.
Here’s what you’ll find when you explore my platform:
🚧 Improving Roads & Infrastructure – A real plan to upgrade roads, sidewalks, and utilities, ensuring our tax dollars are used wisely for long-term improvements.
💼 Strengthening Local Businesses – Policies that encourage economic growth, attract new businesses, and support existing ones to create more jobs in Perry.
🚓 Public Safety & Emergency Services – A focus on ensuring our police, fire, and emergency responders have the funding, training, and resources they need to protect our community.
💰 Fiscal Responsibility & Transparency – No hidden spending. No waste. Just clear budgeting that prioritizes the needs of Perry while keeping taxes fair.
🏡 Smart Growth & Zoning – A balanced approach to development that protects Perry’s small-town values while fostering growth and opportunity.
👥 Engaging the Community – A commitment to open meetings, direct communication, and town halls so your voice is always heard.
You Can See Exactly Where I Stand—Right Here.
Unlike others who talk in generalities, I’ve laid out the HOW behind my campaign promises. You don’t have to guess where I stand—you can read it for yourself.
📢 I challenge every candidate to do the same. Before you vote, ask: Who has put in the effort to show a real plan for Perry?
Let’s Move Perry Forward—Together.
If you have questions, ideas, or concerns, I want to hear from you. Let’s make sure this election is about action, not just talk.
